CHILLADIDDO
the mystery is inthe taste...

We are
Made with Rural
Chilladiddo started back in 2010, as a hobby in Leeko's home kitchen, using chilies grown in her grandfather's farm, and canning techniques passed on to her by her mom.
Being a chili lover, Leeko was frustrated by the bland green chili mixed with olive oil served by most restaurants. She set out to create a chopped-up chili that could provide both heat and flavour, enhancing the taste of many dishes.
From inception, it has been important for us to come up with products that will, not only offer our customers good value and quality for their money, but also create a sustainable market for rural growers, bountiful in arable land, but still living below the poverty line.
5% of the proceeds from the sale of our products is channeled back to these farmers, through our Made with Rural Initiative, to help them improve their farming practices, methods and machinery - to remain sustainable, and eventually, become commercial!
Through our products, we hope to showcase all that is positive from rural South Africa, and offer you, our customers an opportunity to contribute towards the economic upliftment of these communities, helping create sustainable economic opportunities for them.
